What started as a simple homeschool project for our children has blossomed into a small, family-run business dedicated to providing high-quality, small-batch tallow products. Our vision goes beyond tallow; we’re excited to soon offer farm-fresh eggs, herbs, flowers, and more! 

At The Rustic Sage Farmstead, we believe in nourishing your mind, body, and soul. Our journey into clean eating and natural living began over a decade ago when faced with health challenges that inspired a shift toward a low-tox lifestyle. We understand that what we put on our skin and in our homes is just as vital as the food we consume. Topics like gut health and food sensitivities are frequent conversations in our home, alongside non-toxic skincare and cleaning products. It’s remarkable how our dietary choices and product selections can impact our well-being!

We take pride in sourcing our tallow locally, ensuring we utilize every part of the animal, honoring the cycle of life and reducing waste.

When we’re not busy crafting our tallow products in the kitchen, you’ll find us engaged in various activities around the homestead—gardening, tending to our chickens, or embracing new projects! As a family immersed in railroading, homeschooling, and homesteading, our days are never dull. We cherish our time camping and enjoy cheering our kids on with their endless activities, always embracing new adventures along the way.
